Python refuses to put the move on the cops!

Pets are trained to be obedient but it seems that pet pythons do not fall in that category. Recently, the cops were called to attend to a domestic disturbance involving the 21-year old Victor Rodriguez and his girlfriend. She had complained that Victor was threatening to attack her with his pet python, so the cops were sent to assist in calming the situation down.
But Victor, in a sudden spark of intelligence decided to order his python to attack the police instead of calming down. As a result, he has been charged with threatening police as well as disorderly conduct. It is one thing to threaten the cops but totally another when you expect your python to do so. Victor must have not taken his intelligence tablets for the day for any sixth grader would tell you that a python tends to move slowly. So what if the python decided to make the moves on the officers, would they have been standing still for the entire duration while the python took his own time to wrap around them?
Either way, the cops feel lucky that python refused to obey his owner, not that they were in great danger since they could easily outrun the slithering beast if they wanted to. Pets are a responsibility and should not be misused to serve the owners agenda, like here. They are more or less like members of one’s family and after having seen what Victor does with his pets, he should be barred from having any more pets, at least for the near future anyway. The building superintendent opened the door for the police and immediately on seeing them, Victor egged on his snake by telling him to “get them”. What an idiot, a python does not have any ears, nor does any other snake for that matter. Anyway, Victor has been sent to jail on a $10,000 bond and the albino python has been taken to an animal shelter!
